What do we need to be Aware of?
Easter and yummy treats come hand in hand but it’s also a time where you should keep a close eye on your dogs. Some seasonal indulgences for us can be extremely harmful for our dogs! Dogs can be very sneaky when it comes to stealing food and also very coy – but it’s not just food that we need to think about! So what exactly do we need to be aware of? For a happy Easter for you and your pet, we have put together a round up of the things that our dogs must avoid.
Happy Pancake Day!
This year, Pancake Day falls on 13th February. Shrove Tuesday always falls 47 days before Easter Sunday – so the date varies each year (now there’s a fact!). If you’re anything like us, it’s a day not to be missed and you will be partial to flipping a pancake or three!!
Pancakes can also be great fun for our dogs! Doggie-friendly pancakes are similar to human pancakes but you have to make sure you avoid foods that can be toxic for dogs, such as human chocolate, grapes and raisins. For a full list of foods that are harmful, you can check out our blog post here.
